Mass Updating an audited field creates individual notes

Mass Updating the assigned user of contacts for instance creates an individual note for each update.

I wonder how to handle this better?

It makes the /#Stream page pretty unreadable.

When we implement Mass Follow/Unfollow you will be able to unfollow those records.

Most of our users want to see the changes across all companies, just not something like this. Never-mind it's not a particularly important issue.
