Not sure who the culprit is here but this is pretty severe, I hope the LXD guys come up with some solution ...

Since I am discussing this topic right now with the LXD guys: Is there any write process to the config.php after or while I close the application? Could this write process be delayed? Even by a couple of minutes?

Cron might be writing in config.php
If you find EspoCRM good, we would greatly appreciate if you could give the project a star on GitHub. We believe our work truly deserves more recognition. Thanks.

Which cron? One of yours? Or the system one? I can reproduce the issue but not always - I take a snapshot (of the entire machine), I close the application, I restore the snapshot and I miss a couple of bytes at the end of config.php. Which of course causes a 500 error. I understand that this is not your doing but somehow I need to find the reason for this behaviour.

I meant that config.php is being modified by espocrm cron when it's running
