I tried searching with no luck, but I am hoping someone can help me.
We are trying to do "account" based security, as in you need to be a part of the account to see the contacts for that account. It looks like this can be done by using the teams function. In order for that to work, I had to create a team and apply it to the account, and also then apply it to the contact.
First, is there a better way to do account based contact security?
If not, is there a way to make the "teams" field then read only, and auto populate from the "teams" on the account? It would be a foreign link from teams in account to populate teams on the contact, and needs to work for multiple accounts, teams scenarios.
