E-Mail notification

Hello, we are using memos pretty often. And also tag other users inside a memo.
To give them any kind of information about that memo.
And normaly a mail will be send to the user about the tag.
"You were mentioned in a topic from xyz"

However, it seems the mail will not be send, when the user is logged in his espo account.
It seems it will only be send, when the user is not active in espo.
Is there any way to adjust the settings, so that the mails will always be send no matter if the user is active in espo or not?
