I believe I have most of what I need configured now "out of the box" with no custom coding so far. But I'm curious. . .
The portal role document permission is all or nothing. But it is possible to assign documents to to some contacts from the contact screen, and other contacts won't see them unless those documents are assigned to them. I'm wondering if this can happen for folders too. Or only make folders visible when a document inside them is assigned to the contact. Right now, all document folders are visible to the contact inside the portal, but they only see the documents assigned to them or that they uploaded themselves. If I can find a way to do that for folders too, that will help immensely.
