Create items in checklist based off what is checked in a Foreign checklist (Cloud)

I have a Entity (#1) that has a checklist in it. I have another Entity (#2) that is linked to the initial Entity. The initial Entity will have certain checkboxes checked. I would like to be able to create a new checklist in Entity #2 that has the options that were checked in Entity #1's checklist but with them unchecked.

So if 3 things out of 10 are checked in Entity #1's checklist I want to generate Entity #2's checklist with 3 items in it that are unchecked.

Is this something I could do through a workflow? Right now I'm just showing the checklist from Entity #1 as read only but that doesn't allow the user to check the boxes when they complete the items.

I know there is the dynamic checklist extension but because I'm in the Cloud I can't install that.
