Fetch a persons name from an email in a Case to use in a template

I am trying to make an email template that will be used when replying to emails connected to a Case. I can't seem to find the right field to add to the template to fetch the name used by the sender of the email. Do I have to add the the person as a contact in EspoCRM to fetch their name and use it in a template?
