Hello,
We have acquired two portals for a long time. It works very well. Unfortunately we can't create a start page for each portal. One wants to greet the portal users on the portal or inform them.
A simple solution would be to place one or more "text dashlets"* on the dashboard.

* Text field with free formatted content - wysiwyg editor.

Currently we have our own module with a dataset and this is displayed in the dashlet.
