Dashboard Filtered Record List

It would be nice to be able to created a record list "dashlet" whereby the record list is filtered by a custom field. It doesn't seem possible at the moment.

Not sure if this is what you are trying to accomplish but, you can set up a dashlet with a custom list of records through the Administration UI, and include filters.

Dashlets can be set as default for all users, or by user or by portal.

To set up a dashlet as default for all users go to: Administration > User Interface > click the "Plus" sign under "Dashboard layout (default)"

Select "Record list" and a dashlet will be added to the dashboard, edit that dashlet and you can specify, the entity and filters.

In the dashlet edit view there are two filter options: "Primary Filter" which are the filters specified as "filterList" in the entity's clientDefs and "Additional Filters" which are the filter conditions specified as "boolFilterList" in the entity's clientDefs.
