Hello,
I have a problem with Project Task:
Currently, the fields linked to the Gantt are in Date format. This means that a task lasts at least one full day, can only start at the beginning of a day, and can only finish at the end of a day.
In my line of work, there are many tasks that only last a few hours, and whenever one task ends, a new one begins.
With the current extension, instead of having tasks that last just a few hours, I’ll end up with tasks that span an entire day… which completely skews the Gantt chart.
Do you have a solution?
How would you work around this issue?
A solution ideal for me would be to change the format of fields DateStart and DateEnd , to DateTime format.
Another solution would be to skip DateStart and DateEnd, and replace them by 2 new DateTime fields, and then setting up the Gant view to use these fields.
thanks for your tips !
