Generating Pre-Invoices from a Custom Entity (CRA Management)

    Hello,
I would like to know if it’s possible in EspoCRM to generate a pre-invoice from a custom entity named “CRA Management”, which includes the following fields: number of days, rate, month, and service description.

The goal is to create a pre-invoice PDF without a final invoice number, before validation of the actual invoice.
Is there any native feature or recommended approach for this (workflow, PDF template, or extension)?

Thank you in advance for your help.

You can achieve this with a custom entity, few formulas and a PDF template (if you need a printed version).

It may be achieved by adding checkbox or so and different numbers in invoices entity.

I think what you're trying to achieve is already possible. It's called a 'quote' and it works as a proforma invoice - or 'pre-invoice', as you called it. You can change the name on the printout as you wish by creating your own PDF template. If you don't use it in your company, you can use the Sales Order template for that purpose instead.

A final invoice can be different to a quote. But in fact, that is a way as well, if the values must not be the same in quote and invoice.

Maybe using an Invoice but with a different PDF Template. I've seen in other SMB ERPs such an approach is suggested.
If you find EspoCRM good, we would greatly appreciate if you could give the project a star on GitHub. We believe our work truly deserves more recognition. Thanks.
