    Read emails are kept as read

    In my Espo CRM system, I have Users with emails. I have enabled to fetch emails from their inbox to Espo CRM.
    But in IMAP settings I have also enabled "Keep collected emails as unread".

    It kind of works, except the emails themselves in their inboxes (not in ESPO CRM, but whatever they are using, like Outlook, for example) are marked as read.
    By my understanding, the "Keep collected emails as unread" option should prevent their emails from being marked as read on Outlook or some other platform they are using, but it's not working for some reason.

    What could be an issue? Any solutions?
    I already tried moving to another server and clearing the Espo CRM cache. rebuild. None helped.
