    Check your SMTP settings.
Gmail example settings for example https://support.google.com/mail/answ...511&hl=en&rd=1

          Still get the same error.
Now i'm thinking that the problem must be with the stmp server itself.

          EHLO localhost
          250-webmail.sasasasasas.com
          250-ENHANCEDSTATUSCODES

          250-AUTH PLAIN LOGIN CRAM-MD5
          250 STARTTLS
DEBUG SMTP: Found extension "ENHANCEDSTATUSCODES", arg ""
DEBUG SMTP: Found extension "8BITMIME", arg ""
DEBUG SMTP: Found extension "AUTH", arg "PLAIN LOGIN CRAM-MD5"
DEBUG SMTP: Found extension "STARTTLS", arg ""
DEBUG SMTP: Attempt to authenticate using mechanisms: LOGIN PLAIN DIGEST-MD5 NTLM
DEBUG SMTP: AUTH LOGIN command trace suppressed
          DEBUG SMTP: AUTH LOGIN failed

          Authentication Failed

tanya I'm getting the same error with the advanced pack installed or not installed, any thoughts on how to solve this?

            Thanks,

            Matt

It appears that Gmail has an issue with Espo and is blocking it.
yuri do you know why google looks at Espo this way?

Here's what I see in my inbox from Gmail:
              Hi Matthew,
Google just blocked someone from signing into your Google Account XXXXXX from an app that may put your account at risk.
              Less secure app

              Don't recognize this activity?
If you didn't recently receive an error while trying to access a Google service, like Gmail, from a non-Google application, someone may have your password.

Are you the one who tried signing in?
Google will continue to block sign-in attempts from the app you're using because it has known security problems or is out of date. You can continue to use this app by allowing access to less secure apps, but this may leave your account vulnerable.

I was able to get it working by allowing other less secure apps.
