Workflow Question

When using the workflow module, I want to send an email X. If it is opened, then send message Y after a day / If it is NOT opened, I want to send message Z after 3 days.

How can we do this in the workflow, I don't see a way to do this but I might be missing something.

Through workflow or campaign is the goal.

You can know Opened status only with sending through campaign.
message Y could be sent after Campaign Log Record to parent....
about message Z ... Campaign Log Record is not available for Reports to use it for Sequential Workflow

I understand I need to use a tracking URL from campaigns to get this data.

Could you explain the other part, I don't understand what you mean.
