Static Dashlet for custom content, info, etc.

Would be nice to have a static dashlet for the dashboard, where we could put important information that needs to stay visible for ease of use. This could be used for links to other company tools, instructions, an occasional important item, etc. It would give a lot of extra capabilities with a relatively simple addon.

Would be good if it could be a wysiwyg type block or just a text block as long as it accepted html.
