Mailchimp Integration - Opt-Out User in Mailchimp

What do I have to do to Opt-Out a user from a mailchimp Mailing list?
Does it work if I go to the contact/lead and mark set the email address to "don't send mails"?

I'm also not able to opt out the contacts/leads from the target list manually without going through the entire target list one by one. But our target list has round about 6000 entries, so thats not an option.. So I'm asking myself: How do I opt them out??

upload EspoCRM Recipients with available email addresses (non-invalid and non-opted out) to MailChimp Lists.

We just add members to MailChimp Lists. Only if you remove the contact, he/she will be unsubscribed

Yes, and if they are in your EspoCRM target list, they will be subscribed in the next synchronization to related Mailchimp list, if they have non-invalid and non-opted out email addresses

So if I opt them out in Mailchimp (NOT deleting them im Mailchimp), EspoCRM will automatically subscribe them to the list again? I don't think so to be honest..
