  • Google calendar sync - non-public domain

    Hello,
we're using Espo at local webserver in the network wit access from local computers or through VPN. I would like to add google calendar sync possibility from advanced pack. I followed your instructions here http://www.espocrm.com/features/google-calendar-sync/ but it doesn't work. Problem is that Authorized JavaScript origins and Authorized redirect URIs must be public. I don't know how to handle it, because in the grey field in the Integration/cal sync/URI redirect I have a local address.

Thanks in advance for any advices ...

    Hi,

Google doesn't support non-public domains. Only localhost (for developers).

      Hi Yuri,
You suggest me to use xip.io to do synch without public domain.

I found xip.io and nip.io but I don't understand how to use it.

      Thanks

          thank you Tania,

          is very simple :-)
          xx.xxx.xxx.xxx.nip.io:8080/espocrm/

I have now CLIENT ID and CLIENT SECRET

          BUT

I can't edit the REDIRECT URL
so when I go to connect Google give me ERROR 400

          [QUOTE]
          Error: invalid_request
Invalid parameter value for redirect_uri: Raw IP addresses not allowed:
          http://xx.xxx.xxx.xxx:8080/espocrm?e...=oauthCallback

You can change siteURL in Administatration > Settings (from xx.xxx.xxx.xxx:8080 to xx.xxx.xxx.xxx.nip.io:8080)
            Everything should work.

and I can't choose the DIRECTION (two way in my case)

Can I do the same to sync with other Google Applications?

For Advanced Pack contains only Contacts and Calendar synchronization. But you can develop what you want

Anything else in log? Did you try to re-connect in external account?
