Option List Sort

There is an option to have drop down option lists sorted alphabetcally but this doesn't seem to work, neither for the database values nor for the display values (the latter being the important one)

As far as I know, only the front end will be sorted alphabetically. If you want to see this admin section sorted alphabetically as well, you can do that manually. Just grab the options and move them around until they are sorted alphabetically

I noticed that but still - look at salutation...
We also changed the address template and added a country dropdown - no sort.

I was able to sort salutation in alphabetical order in the admin area, but you might be looking for something different.

Regarding sorting by enum field option list in list view we consider to implement it in future.

Clarification: Sorting of list views by translation of enum field - yes thanks, I spoke with Alex about it.

My original question / remark was the sorting of options in dropdowns alphabetically IN TEMPLATES like name or address (where we added country as enum). We have solved this but we believe this should be part of the core version. Please consider
